The Boarding House is situated in a renovated heritage home in the heart of the School campus and near the vibrant amenities of Sydney’s CBD. Public transport, shops and parks are all within easy reach.
Weekend and After School Activities
For Wenona boarders, weekends are filled with unforgettable experiences that maximise Sydney’s diverse cultural, sporting and entertainment attractions. They also benefit from the many extra-curricular activities offered on campus, such as music, dance, debating, sport, and creative arts.
Academic Support
Middle School and Upper School boarders are supported by a dedicated Prep supervisor who guides them with their homework every afternoon. The Evening Study Centre caters to Senior College students and is staffed by teachers from all curriculum areas. In addition, specialist rooms such as the Art Studio, Design and Technology rooms and the Drama room may be available when those specialist teachers are rostered. Boarders can access the Wenona Library throughout the weekend.
Further Details
Full boarders reside on campus for the School term and can take weekend leave. Weekly boarders go home to their families on the weekend. Temporary boarding is subject to availability and provides short-term stays for Wenona day girls whose parents are required to travel overseas, or whose family circumstances require them to board for a time.
Boarding Scholarships provide full or partial remission of boarding fees.
